Research Interests

I am a Postdoc at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and a Researcher Associate at the SalGo Team, where I did a postdoc between 2019 and 2020. My research focuses on understanding how life-history responds to environmental change and how this impacts population dynamics and eco-evolutionary dynamics. I do so by combining experimental work and modelling approaches. I am investigating the impact of calorie restriction on life history traits and the impact of this on population dynamics. I am using flatworms as the system of interest as they vary in their modes of reproduction and ability to regenerate, this will provide insight into how the variation in these traits will allow flatworms to optimize their fitness under environmental stochasticity.
