Research Interests

Supervisor: Dr Rob Salguero-Gomez

I am a second-year student studying for an MBiol at St John’s College at the University of Oxford. My main interests within Biology lie in ecology and conservation and how the two are interlinked. Particularly how species interactions can not only affect the morphology, physiology and behaviour of the participants, but also the importance of understanding these interactions for their conservation. I am also interested in the effects that climate change will have on our ecosystems and will be working with the SalGo team on the RainDrop experiment up at Wytham to study the effect of extreme rainfall events such as droughts and floods on grassland communities.
