Research Interests

Supervisors: Dr Rob Salguero-Gómez & Dr Jacques Deere

I am a clinical stage medical student at Guy’s and St Thomas' Medical School at King's College London. My primary overlap of interest with those of the SalGo team is in the biology of longevity. I am particularly excited by the comparative work conducted by the Salgo Team on studying longevity in a variety of taxa.

I am assisting Jacques Deere with a project investigating the interaction between body mass modulation and life-history traits including life-span, mortality and reproduction in the context of caloric restriction (CR) in two species of flatworm. Through this work, I hope to acquire a nuanced view of CR and other dietary interventions given their posited effects on health and longevity and possible translational application in human interventions.
