Supervisor: Dr Rob Salguero-Gomez
I am a Post-doctoral Researcher working in the SalGo Team at the University of Oxford (UK) and in the Universidad Miguel Hernández (Spain). During my PhD, I examined the effects of environmental disturbances (fire events, climate change and habitat loss) on populations of terrestrial tortoises. My current research focuses on understanding the life histories strategies of reptiles to predict the consequences of global change. Ultimately, I aim to develop effective management and conservation tools. The main goal of my postdoc project is to quantify which reptiles’ species are most vulnerable to climate-driven extinction.
