I am a 4th year MBiol student researching the drivers of intraspecific tree architecture. I have a passion for tropical forests and the factors that affect their demography. I want to explore how advancing remote sensing technologies can enhance our understanding of climate change’s impact on our planet’s forests. My work will aim to develop our understanding of the determinants of intraspecific variation of tree architecture and how this influences tree demography in an intact tropical forest, using terrestrial laser scanning.
