If you would like to join us for a short research visit for a collaboration, please contact me with a CV, a well-defined research proposal and specific goals for your visit, a list of funding agencies that will support you, and some suggested dates.
Requests to support visiting applications need to be made months in advance to the application deadline so that HR office can support them and help in the application for pertinent visas.
For non-students (e.g., sabbatical professors, visiting postdocs), a fixed administrative fee (£200+VAT) and a monthly bench fee (£240+VAT) may apply, unless waived by our Department based on a strong justification. Potential ECR visiting scholars from developing countries are encouraged to apply for a Darwin Fellowship to come work with us for up to 14 months. More information here.
We can also host visiting PhD students. Visits for less than 1 month do not require Recognised Student status at the University of Oxford, but an admin fee may apply. PhD students wanting to visit us for more than 1 month will need to apply for Recognised Student status. More information here.
