Research Interests

Supervisor: Prof Rob Salguero-Gómez

I am an incoming DPhil student joining the SalGo team in Oct 2026. My research focus will be on developing disturbance-specific resilience metrics, and integrating Grime’s CSR theory, a widely used framework in both community ecology and functional trait ecology, with life history models. I hope to combine the two approach to provide a link between individual life history and community resilience, whilst providing a trait-based method for efficient assessments. I am broadly interested in Ecology and Evolution, with a recent focus on how humans interacts with nature and how this nexus influences conservation.
