I am a spatial ecologist focused on (1) advancing Ecological Niche Theory, (2) understanding Global Change Ecology, and (3) developing Spatial Models & Methods. I completed my PhD at the National University of Singapore. My work stretches from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia to the grassy meadows of Europe, where I have developed methods to better model and analyse species distributions and conducted scenario-based assessments of biodiversity outcomes under future global changes. I am soon starting a Marie Curie fellow at the SalGo Team, where I will amalgamate niche and demographic theories and methods to advance the demographic niche concept. This novel conceptualisation will further our mechanistic understanding of climate change impacts on specific vital rates across niche space, and how these variations translate to population dynamics across space and time.
