I am a first-year DPhil student on the NERC DTP at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on understanding patterns of bias in the assessments of species in the IUCN Red List, with particular interest in amphibians, reptiles, and invertebrate groups. My work also aims to fill gaps in knowledge across the Red List by developing models to estimate extinction risk using species biology. In addition, I have a wider interest in characterising the impact of species loss on the functional and phylogenetic diversity of ecosystems, to support conservation prioritisation.
